Website repair, based in Burlington.

Get it working again.

Website repair for a site that's broken, half-finished, or stuck with a developer who stopped answering. I take over what other people started, find out what's actually wrong, and fix it.

And when the honest answer is to start again, you'll hear that plainly.

Broken sites

Forms that don't send. Pages that don't load.

Errors, broken forms, failed updates, expired certificates, a site that went down and stayed down. I find the cause, not just the symptom, so the same thing doesn't break again next month.

  • Errors & outages
  • Broken forms & features
  • Failed updates

Inherited code

A site nobody can edit.

Built by someone who has moved on, on a setup nobody else understands. I work out what you have, get access back under your control, and make it maintainable again.

  • Inherited codebases
  • Lost access & logins
  • Undocumented setups

Stalled builds

Finish what someone else started.

A rebuild that went sideways, or a developer who stopped answering. I review what exists, keep what's sound and get it to launch — or tell you plainly if it's cheaper to start again.

  • Stalled or abandoned builds
  • Migrations off dead platforms
  • Honest keep-or-replace calls

Note 01 Sometimes a repair costs more than starting over. I'll tell you which before you spend on either.

Not every site is worth saving.

If the platform is out of support or every fix uncovers two more problems, patching it keeps you paying for the past. Either way you get a straight recommendation — fix it, rebuild it, or move it — with the reasons.

How the work actually goes.

Evidence first, then decisions, then building. You always know what's happening, why it matters, and what comes next.

  1. 01Diagnosis

    Find out what's wrong

I look at the site, the code, the hosting and the history, and find the actual cause.

  2. 02Decision

    Recommend the fix

You get a plain recommendation — repair, rebuild or migrate — and what each would involve.

  3. 03Repair

    Fix it

I make the repair myself and test it properly. The person who found the problem is the person at the keyboard.

  4. 04Ongoing

    Keep it from breaking again

Hand it back with access sorted, or move it onto Web Care so somebody keeps watching it.
